a tragedy in three satiric acts. this original work follows the current progress of america from three different perspectives: the family, the government, and the future.  borrowing from absurdism, epic theater, expressionism, existentialism, and dadaism, the structure of Us is a metaphor for america's "melting pot/tossed salad" of different origins, values, and cultures.
act 1 shows a family standing in the middle of a field, in the middle of nowhere showing their "support".  act 2 exaggerates the president's overreacting to an overreaction...and his repercussions for it.  and act 3 follows the last two survivors from earth, who have been shipped to mars to start the process all over again.
